On Wednesday 27th June, North Liverpool Academy welcomed Jason Weston from Amazon.com to deliver an inspiring presentation to our students.
Jason is the UK Director of Amazon Prime Now, Amazon’s ultra-fast delivery service that provides 1hr deliveries for a range of 15,000 products across major cities across the UK.
As part of our work with the Speakers for Schools programme, Jason came in to talk to Year 9 and Year 12 students. The programme seeks to inspire students to broaden their horizons by giving them access to the insights, experiences and expertise of today’s leading figures.
Students found the talk and Q&A session highly interesting and informative.
Incoming Head Boy Alec Matapo commented, “It was a great experience and I know the advice Jason gave, including the tip to think ‘How can I get the most of today?’ will definitely help me and others in the future!”
