Art Students Work on Exciting Liverpool Biennial Project

The art department recently hosted poet and visual artist Nathan Jones, alongside Polly Brannan from Liverpool Biennial Arts.

This marked the launch of a collaborative art project between Nathan and year 10 students, inspired by literacy and vernaculars.

Over the next month, art students will explored their identity in depth, and the meaning of “class”.

This will culminate in a series of creative personal responses that will be exhibited during Liverpool Biennial, 2018.

NLA ARTIn addition, this project also celebrates the start of a creative collaboration across Northern Schools Trust – working with The Studio School, and also a secondary school located in Istanbul.

If you would like to participate in this project, there is still time to enrol if you are quick – please see Miss Donnelly for more details.
