We are celebrating our best set of GCSE results at The Studio. Results in our specialisms of IT, Creativity and Entrepreneurship were particularly strong with ICT students achieving 85% and Enterprise students achieving 100% A*-C equiv. Students of Graphics, Art, Film and Creative Media achieved 84% A*-C. There are many impressive individual performances by Studio students:
Jack Edgar achieved a clean sweep of 9 A*/A/Distinction. Matthew Hayes achieved 7 As, and a Dist*. Dylan Horton achieved 6 A*/A/Dist. There are some impressive turnaround stories too: Niamh Lawlor joined in the middle of year 10 with very low attendance and achieved 1xA*, 5As. Students on our accelerated programme sat their GCSEs a year early and deserve a special mention: Emily Radcliffe achieved 3A*, 2A, 2Bs, 2Cs and Michael Davies achieved 2A, Dist*, Dist, 3Bs and 2 Cs.
This is a testament to the focus and diligence of our high performing students and the dedication of our teachers and colleagues who always go the extra mile to support them. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back into our sixth form alongside other ambitious, creative and entrepreneurial students from across Merseyside and beyond.
