Scarborough UTC entered the F1 in schools contest the year first competing in the regional finals in December where they won the awards for best engineered car, sponsorship & marketing and team identity along with second overall. They progressed onto the national finals in March at Airbus UK, where the team, Avidity Racing, won three awards.
