Read all about it! UTC Students launch first ever ‘Baltic Science Journal’

On Wednesday 10th January, Life Sciences UTC students launched the first ever edition of their very own publication – the Baltic Science Journal.

The journal talks through a wide range of pre-university research projects and features the latest work of some of the UTC’s current year 12s and 13s, alongside some recent UTC alumni.

Showcasing their work at an in-house conference, Year 12s also presented A1 posters summarising the research they have been doing and took this opportunity to present the BSJ to some of the UTC’s industry partners.

These students have recognised the importance of sharing their research findings far beyond the walls of their school and we’d like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who attended.

From bee drones to printed organs, the first edition of BSJ is a showcase for the research interests of a selected group of students and will undoubtedly catalyse the submission of manuscripts over the coming months.

“As the world cries out for young talented scientists to help us solve the problems of the 21st Century and beyond, who better to inspire them than the young talented scientists themselves?”
