Students in Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 represented the North Liverpool Academy as part of the Technology department’s Gifted and Talented programme giving students additional opportunities to enhance their skills within a particular area of the curriculum.
The focus of the day was teamwork and problem solving in the form of a design and make activity. (They had to design and make a retractable bride. They competed with other local Secondary schools within Merseyside and Sefton. The event was organised and sponsored by The Rotary Club, Sefton. All students who attended were given certificates of participation for their Records of Achievement.
Well done to the Year 8 team in particular who came second in their category.
