Year 11 student, Daniel Parker has been recognised by the Liverpool Echo newspaper as one of the cities “one’s to watch”, following a string of digital inventions that he has created at home.
Alongside his school projects, Daniel has been working hard on a series of technical home solutions that have made his family’s life that little bit easier!
From an app that monitors (and penalises!) his family’s printer usage, to a camera that identifies the cars in his driveway, Dan has really shown his skills when it comes to programming and innovation.
In a feature article by the Liverpool Echo, 15 year old Dan was given the opportunity to showcase some of his inventive ideas with the people of Liverpool.
Principal of The Studio Liverpool Shaun McInerney said:
“Last month we introduced Dan to a group of local elderly residents who were amazed with his computer generated images (CGI) that illustrated the transformation of our city.
“He has amazed the entire faculty with his understanding of web design and coding. His commitment to his studies in and out of the classroom are a testament to our school.”
